Jonathan Fischer

Jonathan grew up here in San Antonio, Texas, graduating from San Antonio Christian High School.  After high school, Jonathan graduated from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.  Jonathan decided to move back to San Antonio to fulfill his dream of entering the practice of law, and graduated in the top 2% of his law school class at St. Mary’s School of Law in May of 2010.

Jonathan has focused his practice on Criminal and Family Law, and has made a name for himself representing those facing some of the most difficult periods of their lives.

Jonathan has developed a wide understanding of the criminal trial process, as well as the nuances and scientific understanding necessary to evaluate and present a defense for his clients.  Jonathan has demonstrated a knack for resolving cases pre-trial, but has also proven time and again that he is willing and able to take any case to a jury.  Jonathan is licensed to practice both in State and Federal Court, and has practiced in Bexar, Guadalupe, Karnes, Wilson, Atascosa, Lavaca and other surrounding counties.

Jonathan has also developed a knack for post-conviction work, specifically criminal appeals from convictions.

When it comes to Family Law, Jonathan realizes that this can be one of the most difficult and trying periods of a person’s life.  Changes in the family can be scary, difficult and downright painful.  Jonathan has  devoted himself to understanding his client’s needs and to developing the best possible case to achieve the best possible result for each of his clients.  Jonathan has dedicated himself to being approachable and never out of contact with his clients in their times of need.

Jonathan dedicates himself to putting his clients first, and believes that the most important thing is that his clients understand the process and all their options.
